Movie Night @ the Speakeasy
Supperland in Charlotte, NC, is an amazing venue. The main restaurant is an old church connected to an eclectic modern bar with outdoor seating. The bar sports a hidden basement Speakeasy.
Several times a year, they run a multi-month-long theme of cocktails paired with small plates. You read that right. The drinks are created first, and then the small plates are inspired by them. Brooke and I have had the pleasure of attending a half dozen or so of them over the past few years, and they never disappoint. One of the more recent ones was a movie theme: Movie Night at the Speakeasy. Great food, amazing cocktails, and a relaxing evening out!
